Samsung LN40B500P3F Disassembly

Added on September 13, 2017 by Jeremy Mulder.

I pulled a 52" Samsung LN52A550P3F out of the recycling bin and I think it needs insulation on the LCD tabs. I've only done a few TV repairs and never had to get all the way to the tabs, so before I do it on the 52" TV that I know basically works other than some vertical lines on the LCD, I wanted to practice by tearing down this 40" TV that already has a broken LCD.

This is video 1 of 2. In this video, I'm going to brave the world of electronics repair. Maybe you'll be inspired to give it a shot yourself.
